F/A-18 Hornets - 30-40 knot Cross Wind Take-Off

Note the Skid Marks on both Hornets during the Take-off !

Film at WOI 2014 May 4th.

Airshow was cancelled due to heavy winds, except for 4 Jets performing. (2 Horntets, Jeff Trappett Sabre, & Marchetti S211 Jet)

Great movie, the rudder compensation works very well as soon as the got airborne you really see how much crosswind there is.
