Monday 02nd June,

Today the base was activated until 20th June for Exercise Saber Strike. On this exercise, there will be an unspecified number of B-52H deployed here. The latest rumour is 10 airplanes (that will be up to 16 tomorrow!).

The latest is that 8 seems to be the likely number of B-52Hs arriving here.

Support flights visiting today were,

86-0016 C-5B 22 AS 60 AMW RCH403
07-7171 bl C-17A 3 AS 436 AW RCH954 dep to ETAR

Not sure which serial corresponds to what callsign.

DRAGON21 should be on the ground by now from the south.

I've heard only 3 52's will be deployed.

Another U-2 in today,80-1094.Can't remember the callsign.

And a AMI VC-180 MM62159 IAM0101.

This afternoon two B-2 bombers landed at Fairford, probably for the exercise : 82-1069 (Death 11) and 93-1088 (Death 12) ...

Both B-2's departed back to Whiteman at 12:20L sunday 15th as SPIRIT 1/2.

Sunday 29th June visitor,

06-6158 wt C-17A 21 AS 60 AMW RCH449 dep 30th

This Globemaster III should be the initial support flight for the 4 expected F-35 Lightning III due here.

Tomorrow, July 01st seems to be the latest day these jets are due here from NATC Patuxent River.

Visitor here departing on the 18th was 437 AW C-17A RCH1815.Serial unconfirmed, but possibly 10-0221.
