09/06/2014 - French Mirage 2000D crashes in Niger

Yesterday at 20h00 (09/06/2014 - Paris time) facing serious technical problems a French Mirage 2000D crew (pilot and navigator)safely ejected in a Niger desert area, half-way between Gao in Mali's restive north and the Niger capital Niamey. The aircraft was flying back from a patrol mission above north Mali.
