Atlanta - 25/3/14 - CIVIL

Post by Indiaecho »

Hi,

I recently spent a day at Atlanta - here are some photos.

Any visitor to Atlanta is going to have to like Delta - the airline totally dominates the airport - here is 757 N711ZX waiting for its next flight:-

All aircraft in Delta's fleet can be seen, right up to their 747-400s:-

There is a never ending supply of the airline's narrowbodied fleet, including N948DL:-

It isn't all Delta though - Frontier had a couple of flights:-

Plenty of commuter types as well - this Republic Embraer was one of the more interesting:-

There were two highlights for me. Firstly this brand new Fed Ex 767:-

And this Justice, Prisoner & Alien Transportation System 737. It was fascinating - and thought provoking - watching the aircraft unloading its shackled passengers straight into the coaches, and picking up a similar load:-

I hope the photos are of interest - 100 more from Atlanta can befound at https://www.flickr.com/photos/indiaecho ... 705772202/

JPATS are much better than Ryanair - your transport to/from the airport goes right upto the aircraft - no need to waste time in the terminal!!

They also arrange a free transfer bus to your destination, something Ryanair will not arrange for you.
