Heraklion, Crete request

Hi,

On return to UK departing HER on Friday 18th July, on base apron noted an AB205A-1 of 358MED, HAF on SAR duty but not quick enough to read off. Know it to be one of four so anyone able to assist, please?

Also of note C-130H 745 special marks 356 MTM, HAF arrived HER 14:08L departing 14:30L same day. HTH.

Hi

A couple of rare military visitors to Heraklion Airport yesterday (Monday 25 Aug) in the shape of a pair of Qatari Air force C-130J's, arrived 6 minutes apart at 1425L. Unfortunately no serials as they flew directly over our apartment. Could be heading further West today?

Hi Keith,

C-130j-30's 211/MAH and 212/MAI are most probably the aircraft you saw overflying your appartment inbound Heraklion. Both were logged at Pafos (www.live-mobile-mode-s.eu) yesterday.

Thanks for serials of Qatari C-130J's.

Another pair have just arrived at Heraklion Airport (27th Aug), one at 1320L and second one at 1349L. Did these pass through Pafos as the ones on Monday and are they the same ones?

One of these departed at 14.00h. Unfortunatly because of a lot of heatwaves I couldn't make out a serial.

MAJ just landed(17.50lcl) at Mulhouse on a flight from Heraklion.

Can confirm that 213/MAJ landed at Heraklion at 13:45L, just as we were about to board our UK bound flight.

The SAR Bell was parked further away from the taxiway than usual and therefore unable to read off the serial. Anyone been able to id it?
