Kassel-Calden is the civil regional passengers airfield, and was recently build. The "old" airfield is the general aviation airfield which is positioned about 500 meters SW of the new runway, with the Airbus (Eurocopter) facility.Buccaneer S.2B wrote:Hi Kees,
Why "the old airfield" ? Will there be built a new one ?

Didn't you probably mean 82+57?Joost Michiels wrote:All 3 still there yesterday arround lunchtime, also EC135 5257 was flying from the Eurocopter facility. Thanks for posting, made my last one after all on the way back from holiday. Regards Joost

The second (sadly also unmarked) Bolkow is preserved near the Lynx and Alouette 2, easily visible from the other side of the airfield. The Bo that's preserved at the ZF Luftfahrttechnik entrance has 86+98 on one of its remove before flight tags for what it's worth.patrick dirksen wrote:There is one at the entrance of ZF Luftfahrttechnik, didn't see another one when I visited here two months ago. Where should the second one be? Not next to the Lynx and Alouette II, that's for sure. Scramble reports 86+98 is preserved at Kassel.
