A postflight inspection revealed the bird had left large dents at the right hand nose,
parts of the bird went through engine #3 (CFM56),
other parts impacted the slats.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Frankfurt about 32 hours after landing in Frankfurt.

quite some damage was done to D-AIGM ...
The Aviation Herald learned on Aug 11th 2014, that the aircraft sustained substantial damage qualifying the occurrence as an accident.

On Aug 14th 2014 the aircraft ferried to Dresden (Germany) flying at a maximum cruise level of 090 for repairs.
