Afghan army helicopter crash in Uruzgan leaving 6 people injured

At least six people were injured after an Afghan army helicopter collided with a wall in central Uruzgan province of Afghanistan.
According to local government officials, the incident took place late Sunday in Gezab district.
Provincial governor spokesman, Mohammad Nayab said the helicopter carrying members of the Afghan national police forces when it crashed.
Nayab further added that the helicopter collided with the boundary wall of an Afghan national army (ANA) base.
He said the pilot of the helicopter along with five Afghan national police (ANP) personnel were injured following the incident.
According to Nayab, the health condition of the injured pilot and police personnel are stable and have been taken to hospital for treatment.
Nayab also added that the helicopter had sustained minor damages following the incident.
