has pictures of the aircraft performing this year's flypast over Madrid during the Dia del Hispanidad. Possibly of interest to all visitors to the Madrid area / Torrejon Open House last weekend. I don't see a B707 in the pics, but 1 or 2 C212's and 2 C-130's.
Edit: most important question: anyone with info on the serials of the aircraft that did NOT take off from Torrejon please?
AFAIK there were only 9 Frecces in the flypast. Well, only nine returned to Torrejon after the flypast... they were coded 54538/1, 54480/2, 55059/3, 54505/4, 54473/5, 55055/11, 54518/7, 54482/8, 54477/9 (in landing order)
Were the two CASA's (a SAR 235 and a regular transport C295) and the P3 in the flypast from the static at Torrejon?
Ala12 EF-18BM's that landed back at Torrejon were CE15-08/12-71, CE15-10/12-73(special tail 25 years EF-18 in Ala12) (arrived together) and CE15-12/12-75 (single ship)
Ala46 F/A-18A that landed back at Torrejon was C15-75/46-03
Aguilas that landed back at Torrejon were E25-78/79-02/8 and E25-06/79-06/6
Both CL215T's returned to Torrejon after the flypast; they were indeed UD13-20/43-20/1113 and UD13-22/43-22/1109.
Furthermore, as far as we could tell (hear) from outside Torrejon AB our Dutch F-16 had a ground abort so did not take off; the pics shown in the link mentioned in my first post shows that particular segment of the flypast to consist of TWO EF2000's (not one), one F-18 and one F-5B.
