Aer Lingus (EI, Dublin Int'l) will lease a B767-200(ER) from US ACMI specialist Omni Air International (OY, Tulsa Int'l) during the second half of this year Jethros aircraft database has revealed.

According to the site, the Irish carrier will lease either N225AX (msn 30434) or N234AX (msn 30436) to cover the drop in capacity brought on by the cancellation of plan to bring back A330-200 EI-EWR (cn 330) into the fleet.

The contract is set to run from June 8 through to December 30, 2015, and will see the aircraft being deployed on Aer Lingus' daily Shannon to Boston route, currently operated by a B757-200 wet-leased from Air Contractors (AG, Dublin Int'l).
