Will she ever leave or will it be yet another DC-8 to be broken up at EBOS?

The plans are indeed to fly the DC8 to California (Mojave?) within the next couple of weeks, the A/C was written out of the AOC of the operator just a few weeks after being leased for Ebola flights.
