KLM starting July 2016 plans to expand Boeing 787-9 operations to Asia, where it plans to operate service to Shanghai Pu Dong and Tokyo Narita. Boeing 787-9 schedule to these destinations first appeared 3 weeks ago, and Airline Route briefly mentioned this via twitter account.

easyJet has released a first schedule for S16, which indicates the following changes:
- BFS +2 flights to 9x/week in S16 (S15 only in Jul/Aug)
- SXF +2 flights to 22x/week in S16 (4x/day on Mon, Fri)
- LTN +1 flight on Thu = 24x/week
- LYS new route 4x/week
- LIN new route 6x/week
- PRG +4 flights to 11x/week (2x/day Sun, Mon, Thu, Fri)
- FCO possibly a big reduction from 3x/day, as only 1x/daily is shown at this moment.
- TLV new route 4x/week
- VIE new route 7x/week
Transavia has released its first schedule for S16.
The airline plans to move two routes from RTM to AMS: Dubrovnik (3x/week) and Bergerac 4x/week).
While flight frequencies to Tel Aviv (4x/week), Malaga (17x/week), Ibiza (10x/week), Palma de Mallorca (9x/week), Alicante (17x/week), Valencia (9x/week), Sevilla (7x/week), Faro (11x/week), Bari (4x/week) and Pisa (9x/week) will be raised.
