08-5726 AEGIS99 arrived at St Johns on the 17th and appears to still be there, so maybe? this will head eastbound with AEGIS95 to Ramstein?.AK01 wrote:Swift response seems to be bringing a lot of activity in the upcoming days.
What i could find so far is a mission to Bulgaria on the 20th and the 23rd to drop some troops.
Hohenfels is also mentioned to have around 25 C130 flights for this exercise.
So far arrived, and most likely related to Swift Response are.
Aegis 91 08-5683
Aegis 92 10-5700
Aegis 93 08-3176
Aegis 94 08-5685
RCH111 92-3282
RCH699 92-3283
RCH975 92-3284
RCH613 87-9281
RCH600 91-9141
Other 130's about to cross the Atlantic in the upcoming day(and potential for this exercise) are:
Aegis 95 08-5686 Landing St Johns today 17.55 UTC.
Glean 36 07-4638 Checking in St Johns radio 17.50 UTC.
RCH785 90-1795 Landed St Johns earlier today.
If anyone has more info i would be glad to hear from you (PM if you don't want to share, as i am thinking of going there this weekend) I specially like to know if they fly this weekend, similar to last year September exercise.
Regards Pieter,
Yesterday 5 ANG C-130's were logged at RMS.YOXA wrote:Till when can we expected these C-130's at Ramstein for this exercise?

RCH537 not heading to RS, but will go to Norway instead.

A bit of googling gives 21 an 24/8 as dropping dates in Bulgaria and the 26th as the busiest day with droppings in Hohenfels and Bulgaria at the same time. Afterwards the exercise seems to continue as a ground exercise, so i would guess they will depart again in the end of next week, Th/Fr?Le Addeur noir wrote:The exercise Swift Response runs until 13th September.YOXA wrote:Till when can we expected these C-130's at Ramstein for this exercise?

1 C-130 seen at 16:00, 40 km South of RS (Saarbrücken), flying low North to join the base.zerofive wrote:Hi Left at 18:00L to Aviano 4 c130H now 4 C130J direct in RS
They did not continue direct to RS, heard several at Bucharest radio around 19.00 UTC, and looking at SBS about 4 C130H's and 6 C130J's are operating in the Bucharest area this evening. I heard Viking 90 and 91 around 20.30 UTC, which seem to be returnig to RS, so landing early on the 25th i guess.zerofive wrote:Hi Left at 18:00L to Aviano 4 c130H now 4 C130J direct in RS
