Heliport/helipad lists

Post by Antheii »

Hi,

Getting an overview of all airfields per country usually is not that hard, those lists are readily available on the net - at least for most western countries.

But getting an overview of heliports, let alone small helipads, is a whole different ball game.. :-(
At least, up till now I haven't been able to find such lists for most countries.

At the moment I'm looking for heliports & pads in Germany, but any list (worldwide) would be appreciated.

Who can help, or point me to such lists?

Thx.

Hi Hans,

The Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) of each country mentions the official heliports of that particular country under part 3 ad 3

Note not all countries have a digital edition of the AIP. Google for country name AIP will most of the time result in the particular info.

You can find a list of all the European AIP per country here http://www.eurocontrol.int/articles/ais-online

Aeronautical maps, which also mentions the heliports can be found here https://skyvector.com/

But I also found out that most of the heliports mentioned in the Dutch AIP are not mentioned any more; strike throug, see http://www.ais-netherlands.nl/aim/2015- ... en-GB.html have they changed the rules? So they don't need to be mentioned any more? For instance all the hospitals are not classified as heliport any more.
