W&R Griekenland

Post by Alpha Kilo One »

Helaas.....

At Ioannina an F-84 should be preserved besides the F-5. However, I have never been able to identify it at Google Earth. Have you seen it?

Aha. Is it an F-84? And yes. It's there. I saw it while driving by. Unfortunately no time and opportunities to take pictures. Besides that, don't know if that is allowed over there.

Also saw something camouflaged under a net at the entrance of the canal of Corinthe. Could well be another F-84. Could anybody confirm? Was located in some sort of army exercise ground. Together with a camouflaged tank, and other "toys"

Google made some Street View pictures through the fence at 39.693868, 20.819296. I didn't have problems there either.

Huh.
