1. While scanning Colombian Air Force DC-4-1009 FAC-690 I noticed a musem aircraft in the background. About the same time I read the following on the LAAHS website: The Colombian Air Force -FAC- announced the construction of the new Aerospace Museum, which will be built right across the Jaime Duque Park in Tocancipa, Cundinamarca. To inaugurate the construction works, the FAC Commander, Gen. Carlos Eduardo Bueno Vargas, unveiled a commemorative plaque during a ceremony that took place today (26-Nov-2015.) The new museum will hold a collection of more than 65 historical military aircraft, of which 40 will be kept indoors, while the remaining will be placed outdoors around the main building, which will have an area of 7,000 square meters for exhibitions, a multipurpose auditorium for 250 people and several interactive areas.
So therefor I thought it would be nice to scan the museum aircraft in my collection and share them with this forum. All slides which were made in 1977 (one in 1975) are from my collection so credits goes to the maker. 2. Ju 52-3M-DE 625 was photographed on 12 December 1977 what is exactly 38 years ago today. 3. Canadair CL-13 Sabre 6 FAC-2023 was seen on 20 June 1975. 4. Beech AT-11 Kansan 902. The Douglas A-26C Invader FAC-2519 is the only one missing in my collection,
