Free admission for Miniatur Wunderland for all people who can’t normally afford it!
For the 14th year in a row Wunderland broke its own record with 1,250,000 visitors in the last year. Reason enough for some contemplation. Unfortunately, not everyone was as lucky last year. There are so many families for whom a visit to the movies, the theater, or Wunderland is simply too expensive.
We want to invite these people to Wunderland on 15 selected days.
But how to recognize someone who can’t afford it? We don’t want to categorize citizens and therefore, we want to keep it simple: Each Hamburg citizen who can’t afford a visit at Wunderland in his own opinion can simply choose one of the assigned dates in January in the calendar below. Upon arrival at our entrance he/she simply has to say something along the lines of: "I can’t afford it" in any language and will then get free admission. You can also simply just write it down on a piece of paper as well.
We are receiving great support in Hamburg from the social security office and various institutions by sharing this information with the right recipients. Additionally, we would be grateful if you could also share this information, in order to reach even more people outside of Hamburg as well.
Last but not least: We are putting a lot of trust into this initiative and we hope that it won’t be betrayed.
