According to internal reports The Aviation Herald received the aircraft was carrying 100 tons of 2000lbs bombs to be used in the armed conflict in Yemen.
The aircraft was flown by a captain who hadn't flown in the last 7 months.
Following the roll out a maintenance inspection revealed that the engine #1 was damaged beyond repair, it was not even possible to close the engine doors anymore after they were opened.
Nonetheless, the aircraft was prepared for a ferry flight to Minsk the following day,
the aircraft commenced the takeoff run and entire flight on three engines (with #1 inoperative),
the aircraft landed in Minsk without further incidents and remained on the ground in Minsk until Jan 6th 2016.
