Net via de mail gekregen:

New developments are coming to the Cathay Pacific Group, and we wanted to share them with you personally.

Since 2006, Dragonair and Cathay Pacific have worked closely together to connect Hong Kong and Mainland China, the region and the wider world.

We are pleased to update you on the next step in the relationship. Dragonair will soon be rebranded as Cathay Dragon. The new name and corporate identity will help to assure passengers around the world that both carriers are part of the same premium airline family, and give confidence of smooth connections between flights operated by the two parts of the group.

This rebranding helps to leverage Cathay Pacific’s high international brand recognition and Cathay Dragon’s unique connectivity into the expanding Mainland China and regional markets.

In the coming months you will see a refreshed brushwing logo and livery, an integrated website experience, as well as shared signage and other product features.
