Acc a post at FB the paintabay H14 will close as from the 1st of July... So no more special visitors as it seems after that date:-(

KLM will close their aircraft paintshop. Located in hangar 14 bay 3. All paintjobs will be contracted.
Plans are to make the space store for spareparts.

Looks like KLM is getting rid of everything that is not needed all the time to run an airline (giving up cargo more or less, rumours of selling Transavia to seperate holding, selling other assets etc)Cohld this be part of making KLM lean and mean and ready for sale? Or is it me thinking negative?

Its not making it lean. Its just cost cutting.
Everything that is not making money today will be cut.

I heard there are plans to make a maintenance bay of it, like bay 1 & 2

Yup, it's true. In the summer the maintanance Boeing 737 FC lijn is moving out of H10 to H14.
