airliner wreck at Tempelhof: VFW-614?

Post by propliner55 »

Hello,
my son returned from a visit to Berlin, for me he had a few pics taken at Tempelhof.
The DC-4 was seen from a great distance, the former firetrainer was quickly identified but behind a fence and bushes was something I am struggling with.
Is this all that remains of VFW-Fokker 614 N614GB?

That's a Caravelle if I'm not mistaken.

The VFW went to Werneuchen last year, for refurbishment...
