Ukraine rolls-out new An-132D light multipurpose aircraft for Saudi Arabia

Ukrainian aircraft manufacturer Antonov ( part of UkrOboronProm) on 20 December 2016 unveiled the new An-132D transport aircraft demonstrator.

State enterprise Antonov (Kyiv) today lifted the veil on the light multipurpose aircraft intended for transportation of various cargoes weighting up to 9.2 t on short− and medium−haul air routes. The An-132D will be the first prototype of the A-132 turboprop light transport aircraft, which is slated to replace the AN-32 and AN-26, the company said.

After performing a series of test flights, the aircraft will be presented to potential customers in Saudi Arabia.
