It arrived 0717lt as TB3051 from BRU and left 0845lt as OR441 to SID. Callsign is JAF3051 by the way.Ger wrote:TUI B737-800 OO-JAY just departed as TB3051. Any idea when the aircraft landed at Schiphol?

I assume it's in the holding over ARTIP.KMwecare wrote:Why does the Air Baltic CS300 keep turning circles above Flevoland?
Currently it's heading towards the east, so it's most likely diverting to a different airport. Maybe Düsseldorf.adz wrote:I assume it's in the holding over ARTIP.KMwecare wrote:Why does the Air Baltic CS300 keep turning circles above Flevoland?
My guess is that for such a new aircraft the minima to make an approach are somewhat higher than for aircraft that have 'proven' themselves.
And as it's a bit foggy...
The higher minima we're talking about apply to clouds and visibility, not the distance between the aircraft on final. Letting other aircraft hold for a longer time doesn't help. It should wait for the visibility to get better. I assume that it took too long and they diverted.Spotirob wrote:I understand that it's a new aircraft and that the approach minima are a bit higher, but why it wasn't possible to let another aircraft circle an extra time, I can't.
Ah I understand. Clear, thanks!adz wrote:The higher minima we're talking about apply to clouds and visibility, not the distance between the aircraft on final.
