Texas Arng AH-64 Crashes Into Galveston Bay

The Texas Army National Guard is investigating the cause of a helicopter crash into Galveston Bay,both crew aboard the aircraft were killed and the wreckage was located in the water.They are working to recover the aircraft and the bodies.The Texas ARNG said the aircraft was from the 1-149Th Avn at Ellington Field.

Such a shame in the holiday season. May they rest in peace.

From the pictures found online looks like the main rotor separated from the helo. All speculation of course.
