Good afternoon,
Yesrterday an extensive trip was made throughout Belgium. Hereby the helicopter related items.
Neerpelt
Tussenstraat 4, Neerpelt 51.240020, 5.419456
Two (A)B47's should be based here. Though the site can easily be overviewed, no traces of helicopters or even a hangar were seen.
Prior permission required to have any chance, probably
Houthalen
(Industrieterrein) Centrum Zuid 2067 3530 Houthalen 51.014841, 5.359272
An ex Peruvian Army B47 is based here. Unfortunately nothing could be seen as well. Prior permission required as well.
Hasselt-Maasland
Ekkelgaarden 16, 3500 Hasselt 50.909986, 5.349400
While anything outside marvellous views are possbile. No luck today, unfortunately......
Saffraanberg
Luikersteenweg 361, 3800 St.Truiden 50.785215, 5.234360

This Wallonian airfield flashed some choppers as well:
F-GUSP Robinson R22

OO-VDM Robinson R44 Raven II Best in the Sky titles
Genappe/Baisy-Thy
Rue Wattimez-Haut, 1470 Genappe 50.568360, 4.438138
This crowded ULM airfield had a few interesting items:
02-AGW Autogyro Europe Calidus
OO-CRB Robinson R44 Raven II Brussels Heli Air (with titles)
OO-ULM Robinson R22 Beta II Privately owned
The R44 was doing pleasure flights, and approaching/departing like a madman!
Buzet/Pont-à-Celles
Chausée de Nivelles, 6230 Pont-à-Celles 50.543524, 4.379528
Another crowded Wallonian ultra-light airfield.
OO-GTR Giumbal Cabri G2
OO-ISA Robinson R44 Raven II
Like Baisy-Thy, also this R44 was flying his nuts out of his pants........
Practising flying like this in the Netherlands would mean a immediate ban! But hell yeah, it's Belgium you know..
(no offense, dear Belgian friends, love your country )
