Phantom Phinale II looks at the service of the RAF's Phantoms through the eyes of XT891, the first FGR.2 to be delivered to the service in 1968. 23 years and 5000 flying hours later she became the gate guardian at RAF Coningsby, the modern day home of the Tornado F3.
Narrated by Martin Jarvis, we take you back to the 1960's. With historical news footage we explore the cancellation of the TSR2 and subsequent purchase of the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II.
