EATT17 @ Beja

Post by ehusmann »

Currently at Beja the annual EATT exercise (European Air Transport Training). It started last Monday June 19 and will last until Friday June 30. Participants as found on Flickr, Twitter and Facebook (I haven't been there myself).

France: C-130 ??
Germany: C-160D 5076, A400M 5406
Netherlands: C-130H G-781
Poland: C295M 021
Portugal: C-130H 16803
Romania: C-27J ??
UK: Hercules ??

The UK Herc is at Beja, but I could not find a picture on which it was readable. The French and Romanian are on the list of participants, but I haven't found any pictures of either.

Participants also regularly have shown up at Tancos this past week, probably for paradrop training.

With a bit of help from live military mode-s: Romania C27 2707, RAF ZH887.
FrenchAF C130 5226 landed over a week ago in Alverca and is just departing at this moment, 08.20 utc. This did not fly, so is not the participating C130. No others found on SBS.
Also noted in the area is Romanian C130 6191, however this didn't fly this week at all, so could have landed at Alverca for instance/ maintenance.
