Tornado Damages Aircraft At Offutt Afb

A small tornado EF-1 tore the base on June 16,causing extensive damage to buildings and some aircraft were damaged,2 of E-4B were knocked out,did not affect the one on alert status.Also base officials say 8 of the RC-135 Fleet received some damage,one with major damage and 7 with minor damage,6 of the 7 have been repaired.Still assessing the total cost to the base and aircraft.
