For a small Airshow by comparison it was a privilege to have seen this, a video taken of two 737 Boeings flying in formation belonging to South African Airways (SAA) Cargo.
Filmed at the 2009 Durban Virginia Airshow (FAVG) annually held in the month of July running over two days.
The aerial formation display of two Boeings was a first at this particular airshow,
the cargo planes were escorted
into the display airspace by the South African Airforce (SAAF) Silver Falcons and the SAA Harvards Aerobatic team.
The commentary between Pilots, Air Traffic control and the airshow commentator were left untouched
as to get a feel of the atmosphere at the time of the display,
but I guess its one of those moments
that you had to be there to really appreciate the moment,
the aircraft were flown by Legendary Pilot Scully Levin and Pierre Gouws.
