An eyewitness has told the Daily Post that they saw someone parachute from the plane before it crashed and burst into flames.
'They said: I was sat at Rhosneigr train station waiting for the train and you can see the air field from there and I was watching the Red arrow flying because you hardly ever see them and then it looked like it was about to land then next thing I saw was the parachute and then the plane hit the runway and went up in flames. ‘
One or two How many on board The Ministry of Defence confirmed it was a Hawk aircraft and an emergency ambulance crew was sent to the scene at about 13:30 GMT on Tuesday.
It is understood two people were on board the aircraft.
An RAF spokesman said: "We are aware of an incident today at RAF Valley involving a Hawk aircraft.
The aircraft is believed to be one of the Red Arrows Aircraft
and had 2 persons on board,
the pilot and an engineer.
“It missed the runway and landed at the left-hand side. Two [crew members] were ejected about 200 yards from the ground.”

Local aviation enthusiast Wyn E. said the aircraft took off and then got into difficulty.
He said it continued banking towards the railway line and back again towards the airfield.
It then approached the runway and he saw two people eject before the Hawk crashed on the airfield.
The Red Arrows have been at RAF Valley preparing for the coming display season.
They had just left to head back to their base at RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire when the incident occurred.
