Currently operating in the Med with the US 6th Fleet the mighty LHD-7 Iwo Jima paid a visit to Haifa port, Israel after exercise Jennifer Juniper two weeks ago. Embarked were elements of the 26th MEU including 12 MV-22A Ospreys, 5 x AV-8B Harriers, 4 CH-53s and at least 4 MH-60s. Noted on Friday 15th were

MV-22s YS00/168300, 01/168337, 02/166723, 03/166741 not read, 04/168333, 05/168291 (below, not read), 06/167915, 07/168340, 09/166719, 11/166686, 12/168298 not read, 14/168323.
CH-53Es YS20, 21, 22 & 23 reported as 161260, 161383, 162517 & 163060 (bothered?)
AV-8s These were hidden by the superstructure but tails YS50/-- & YS53/(165384) were noted. Also seen on board were YS51/165387, 52/165385, 54/165376 & 55/164126.
MH-60s BR35/167827 plus reported BR41/166322, BR43/167898, BR30/-- and "AM06" ?? but some of these may have been on other ships in the group (Oak Hill, Mount Whitney etc)
