After a technical malfunction of the military helicopter,
the pilot had to perform an emergency landing.
There were no fatalities.
For security reasons, the helicopter was destroyed.

A chopper after made emergency landing have destroyed by Afghan Air Forces (AAF) in southern Helmand province.

A source in ministry of national defense reported BNA,
an Afghan Air Forces helicopter,
while supporting Afghan security forces during a ground operation
made emergency landing due to technical problems
in relevant areas of Nahr Saraj district, Helmand province,
which after the hard landing the chopper destroyed by Afghan Air Forces.

An Afghan National Army (ANA) helicopter was destroyed
after an emergency landing due to technical problems in southern Helmand province,
the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said on Sunday.

In a statement,
MoD said the incident took place during a security operation in the Yakhchal area of Greshk district
late on Saturday night.

The crew was
transferred to safety and security forces destroyed the aircraft.

Meanwhile,
a local security source who did not wanted to be named said the ANA commandos raided the area
in a bid to arrest a notorious militant commander.
He revealed the chopper was shot down and then destroyed.
