Big bird coming to YLW

A big bird will touch down in Kelowna on Friday.
The Boeing 747 SP will be one of the largest planes ever to land at YLW.
The massive aircraft is expected to land sometime around 1:30 p.m., after departing from Europe.
It is coming to Kelowna for some light maintenance at KF Aerospace, where it will be considered for purchase by an unknown buyer.
KF's Paula Quinn says the 747 is in "VIP configuration" and will have no problem landing on YLW's 8,900-foot runway.
