KLM in the last few days gradually filed long-haul service changes for summer 2019 season, effective from 31MAR19. Planned changes as of 15AUG18 as follows. Note all current schedule is listed until mid-September 2019.

Amsterdam – Abu Dhabi eff 01JUN19 5 weekly service operated by A330-200, instead of A330-200/-300 mix
Amsterdam – Accra 09MAY19 – 27MAY19 777-300ER service reduces from 3 to 2 weekly (-200ER increases from 4 to 5)
Amsterdam – Calgary A330-300 operates 1 daily for entire summer season (Previous plan: Day 357 by 787-9 from 31MAR19 – 26MAY19)
Amsterdam – Chicago O’Hare 747-400COMBI/787-9 operating, replacing 747-400COMBI/777-200ER. 787-9 operates on following days:

KLM will most likely do the same, as the company did this year.
This year KLM lowered frequencies to Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh to make room for new routes and additional frequencies elsewhere.
So some routes will see cuts, while at the same time KLM will introduce larger European aircraft with 6x additional B738 and leased B737-700 on Cityhopper routes.
Overall the same number of seats (or more) will be available but at a lower frequency.

SkyWork Airlines has applied for bankruptcy and cancelled all flight immediately, including AMS-BRN. Shame to see them go...

Turkish Airlines plans to operate widebodies ONLY on IST-AMS in S19.
The airline replaces the last A321 on the evening service and introduces B77W 5x days /week:

- IST 15:10 – 17:45 AMS TK1953 77W daily ex Tue, Thu / A333 Tue, Thu

KLM in last week’s schedule update filed Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner operation, set to enter service in the second-half of 2019. Planned 787-10 operation as follows.

Amsterdam – Dubai eff 03JUL19 3 weekly (5 weekly from 01OCT19)
Amsterdam – Kilimanjaro – Dar es Salaam – Amsterdam eff 01JUL19 4 weekly
Amsterdam – Toronto eff 29SEP19 5 weekly

Additional changes remain highly possible. Configuration of KLM’s Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner is C38Y306.
