Reappearance of at least three F-5 Tiger II

Mexico will gather more than 50 aircraft in a great stop

The Mexican Air Force (FAM) and the aviation of the Mexican Navy
are preparing the annual military parade of independence of Mexico 2018,
which year after year is celebrated
every September 16 in the heart of Mexico City with contingents by land and air.

Apart from this,
the participation of almost all types of aircraft is expected in the inventory of the two aerial weapons with
Grob G-120TP aircraft, Mil Mi-17 Hip helicopters, Airbus H-225M Super Cougar , Sikorsky UH-60L and M .

Also, it is expected that no less than three F-5 Tiger II aircraft participate in the air stop,
since their engines have already been repaired
after having been subjected to a complete and extensive overhaul
by the specialized house RUAG and returned to Mexico recently.

What regardless of the date,
means that Mexico has recovered a certain level of air defense
through a recovery program whose main delay has been
the state in which the engines were delivered to the Swiss company,
since much more work and time was required of the expected to leave them ready.

Unfortunately, this is because in Mexico there is still no aerospace industry
that can provide this specialized service to FAM,
on a regular basis.
