The US Army's skydiving team, the Golden Knights, will soon receive two new aircraft.

The Fokker C-31A, which has been in use since 1985, will be retired.
The first C-31A arrived at the Arizona Cemetery.

landed at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson on September 24 in the US state of Arizona.

One of two Fokker C-31A Troopships flown by the U.S. Army retired to AMARG earlier this week
after supporting 525,000 jumps for "The Golden Knights," the Army's premier aerial parachute team.

This aircraft has served the team well since 1985 and is replaced
by the DHC-8 (C-147A) which will soon be showcased all across the country. - Sep. 24, 2018

Interesting that serial stenciled on the aircraft is incorrect!!!
