ETAR 22-03-2019

Post by Chabot »

Next Friday we want to visit Ramstein. As it is the first time what is the best on a Friday, photographing departures or arrivals.

What is the normal runway use with a little bit wind from the east?

Any info is welcome. Thx in advance.

It’s not a civil airport, so it totally depends on you: do you like departure shots or arrivals? Then take a chance. A little bit of easterly winds will give you 08 or 09 use.

@ The Traveller

Are you sure that the additional logs are from friday 22.3rd? I think they should be from thursday 21.3rd (see movements ETAR 21.3rd)
And that would make sence that you didn't see the Tunisian C-130.

Best regards
