Spanish CASA 295 crash 03apr19

Post by orange »

Ran off the small runway at Santa-Cilia - Los Pirineos airport around 11.30 today after an landing in bad weather went wrong and fell onto lower ground when it was unable to stop.

A total of nine injuries (one of the pilots received severe head injuries) and T.21-10/35-48 badly damaged (probably a write off).

Video from the same facebook site here

Strange, looks like it touched down to early, hit a bump, went off the runway and failed to stop ( or tried go-around??)

Nah, it would not have been big Facebook
but the "old milicians at Getafe-Facebook"-team that would remove this post.

This usually happens with postings like these when thousands and thousands of people
react to a post and the page-owner(s) get tired of moderating all reactions.
See it all the time, also on Youtube.

It is still there on
https://www.facebook.com/Yo-Hice-La-Mil ... 468085171/
though, see

and

So, no, it is not always "F.a.d.e.b.o.o.k", as someone PM'd to me today

or, also, when ' authorities' ask account-owners to (temporarily) remove the content due to bad publicity or investigations going on. In this case, the question put to the account-owner of ' old milicians' might just have a bit more impact than when the owner was, say, a newspaper.
