Several people posted on social media
that they had seen the American bomber
circling over the area as it burnt off fuel before touching down.

It's thought two of the plane's eight engines had cut out.

60-0009 69th BS 5th BW.

Blocked the runway at Mildenhall for several hours until a B-52 tow-bar was transported from Fairford to move it.
