Anyone who can't make it to Lincolnshire next month might like to consider the Southern Arava for some Winter Sun. The multi-national Blue Flag exercise is scheduled to happen between 03 and 14 Nov at Ovda AFB, first week work-up (there may be a press day, you should write to the IDF Spokesman) 2nd week Exercise proper. Some reports suggest RAF participation, plus all the usual suspects. A certain type of IAF aircraft may operate from it's home-base. Ovda is no longer a civil airport, the LCCs probably use Eilat/Timna (Ilan & Asaf Ramon Intl) ETM.
