JMSDF Kanoya Naval Air Station; large variation of aircraft

One of the suprices which we discovered during the japan tour in 2019 was Kanoya Naval Air Station.
After a tip from a good friend we went to this base and we had a fantastic day here. Specially the large
variations of aircraft and helicopter types made this day. During the day we saw P-3C Orions and P-1
patrol aircraft on the runway. Also the helicopters flew very well here. Specially in the afternoon we
made some fantastic shots next to the helicopter platform during sunset. It was still very busy here
at the end of the day. All in all very happy that we made this choice.
