So guys, if you have any photo or video of the hungarian An-26 in the past, cherish it...cause the type will fly for the last time soon. Hopefully more I can provide.

Hungarian Air Force operated 11 An-26 of which now 2 remain active? 405 and 406?

2x A319 and 2x FA7X are kind of new in the fleet and have been flying way more already than the An26, so they probably replace most of the role of the an26, and when needed, the NATO C17s can be called of course

Hungary only has 60 SAC hours.

A little update everyone.
A ceremony will be held next week.
The type will fly till the end of this month.

They are chaff dispensers. Installed when the type started the Hungary-Iraq and Hungary-Afghanistan route. It was used manually, during landing and take offs agains MANPADS.
