The euromast has two levels, from the restaurant level the view is blocked by a building, you have to make the ride to the top. In that ride you have a fixed seat and the ride rotates. So pictures ok, scoop not. Not that you also have to make a reservation for which time you want to go.Custard Gannet wrote:Have you tried a look from Euromast ? And is it possible to take Scope & tripod in with you ?

We have all those things (good scope ) and more !Antheii wrote:Just got back from the Euromast. You actually can "see" all rows from the platform (where you exit at the 5th floor).
From the North side of the platform, you can see everything, including the most left row, which contains (tonight's situation) the fourth CH-47.the other three are on the right side.
But unless you have a very good scope, with optimal conditions (mornings seem better with the sun from behind) , you cannot really count them.
So whether you can "count" them, is a different story
No, the restaurants are at lower levels, I think this was simply called 'the platform', the one at 112 meter.Custard Gannet wrote:

Thanks for the info, sounds like a good opportunity. In the post of W&R it is mentioned a scope is not possible however, is it not allowed to bring such an item?Just got back from the Euromast. You actually can "see" all rows from the platform (where you exit at the 5th floor).

That is not what I said, if you go into to the top bit a scope is not very usefull as you rotated around the tower and have no fixed point.patrick dirksen wrote:Thanks for the info, sounds like a good opportunity.
