Goodmorning Goldenflyer,

The 23 side is good for photo's. In my opinion landing shots are better on this side although take off shots are better when 05 is in use.
For take off shots when 23 is in use you better go to the chapel.

Scramble member Adrian Stürmer (Adraf) created a very usefull spotting guide (https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewe ... 24623&z=15) which is also available in the airfield guide of this forum (members only).

Happy spotting!

Thanks Flyboy! Wasn't aware there was a spot there. Good to know. Is all landing traffic visible from here (so also ILS approaches, though distant)?

Let's enjoy them while it lasts!

This spot is where aircraft on downwind turn to baseleg, so you’re quite far from the centerline. Banking shots cn be nice. Here on from 07 departure in the circuit https://www.heesters.eu/wp-content/uplo ... 24x683.jpg

Large transporters are doable with many milimeters. https://www.heesters.eu/wp-content/uplo ... 24x683.jpg
