We are proud to introduce the renewed
http://www.scramble.nl, which will go live, this
Wednesday 26 August 2020 *). The newly designed site is part of our extensive Scramble 2020 project: in addition to a fresh new look for the website, this is also the start of a new course that we as a society are going to take and about which we would like to inform you via this message.
All well-known sections of the once trusted scramble.nl have also found a nice place in the new Scramble 2020 website environment. The most visible change will be the Scramble news sections, that we will be publishing via Scramble 2020 from now on. Many of you, currently our more than 92,000 social media followers worldwide (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), are already familiar with this mainstream activity, which we started late 2017. The number of followers and responses we receive underlines the value of this way of offering aviation news.
From
Monday 14 September 2020, Scramble 2020 will only publish the headlines and accompanying photo on social media. These messages are provided with a link that leads you directly to the military or civilian news items on
http://www.scramble.nl, where the full news item can be read. These messages can of course also be accessed directly via
http://www.scramble.nl.
The new website will be gradually expanded in the future with even more interesting functionalities for all aviation enthusiasts.
All current user accounts will also be migrated to the new website.
*) When we implement the new website, the
http://www.scramble.nl known to you
will not be available for some time due to the migration of the content. In most cases this will be limited to a number of hours, but for some parts of the world this can unfortunately take up to one or two days.
