At this moment I spotted on ADSB BAF711 M-1 ALOUETTE 3. Looks like it departed the Kooij and is now returning. Why are these choppers in Den Helder? Last week the 27th i read that M-2 was at Den Helder. I have the impression I see them more often flying north or south along the dutch coast. Is there some maintenance?

Isn't it the Belgian and Dutch navy have an agreement that alouette helicopters are used on Dutch navy vessels?

An Alouette was/is "based" on Hr.Ms. Van Amstel in August. No idea if this is still the case or she returned to port.

This could explain some flights.

This morning again BAF711 M-1 making a flight and currently close by Heerenveen.

It's on board the Zr Ms Johan de With at the Northsea for 2 weeks. Not for transport for the simulator!
