M-346 Master Fighter and Jet Advanced Trainer Aircraft Display at Punta Marina Valore Tricolore 2019 Air Show.
The Leonardo M-346 Master (previously Alenia Aermacchi) of Italian Air Force is a military twin-engine transonic advanced trainer aircraft used also by Israel (Lavi), Singapore and Polish Air Forces. The M-346 is under evaluation also by the Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan Air Force. The M-346FA is the fighter attack version with weapons of the M-346A designated T-346 by the Italian Air Force. The Aermacchi M-346 is the most advanced trainer aircraft available on the market today and the only one specifically designed to prepare pilots for high performance new generation aircraft. The Yakovlev Yak-130 and Leonardo M-346 were originally co-developed but the partnership was dissolved in 2000 and Alenia Aermacchi proceeded to separately develop the M-346 Master, while Yakolev continued work on the Yakovlev Yak-130. Now the Aermacchi M-346 Master and the Yakovlev Yak-130 have many differences only apparently they look like the same plane.
