At the end of the year 2020 this AS532 Cougar of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) came by at the Oirschotse Heide GLV-5. The Cougar did some training approaches in heath part of the GLV-5, which is located in the back of the terrain. The helicopter performed several pretty confined landings between the trees and some lower bush. The helicopter belongs to the 300 Squadron from Gilze-Rijen Air Base and is part of the Defense Helicopter Command (DHC). The Cougar which flew with Callsign (Duke 4) is within the 300 Squadron assigned to the Duke Flight. The weather played ball during this exercise resulting in several bright landing shots under the low positioned sunlight. The brought some typical winter shots from the Netherlands. The Cougar played for a period of almost 1,5 hours before it returned to VFR back to Gilze-Rijen.
