Bo-105 86+69

Post by Buccaneer S.2B »

Goo0d morning,

Euro Demobbed gives Bo-105 86+69 as being preserved in Alserberg/Wissen,
at 50°47'10.0"N 7°43'27.0"E. It can also be seen at Google Earth.
Wrecks & Relics online nor EMOOS mention this helicopter.
Can somebody confirm this 105 is indeed at Alserberg/Wissen?

wkr.,
Remco

Well, according to the Scramble database 86+69 was stored at Roth and for sale in 2013. On the Google Earth picture of 2009 there is no Bo.105 to be seen at that location, the next photo in 2015 has the Bo.105.
In my opinion the information on Eurodemobbed is very reliable, especially when there is a recent last noted date, so I don't know why you are in doubt to be honest.
Cheers,

It was already listed as being at the Helmert car repair shop in Scramble 487 (Dec19)
For the benefit of Mr. Kite, there will be a show tonight on trampoline
