NBAA week was booked, but due to USA entry restrictions we needed to cancel this trip.
As Mexico was one of the few countries in the world with ‘easy’ access (no tests required)
we decided to go to Mexico in stead. Only requirement to get access to airside/plane, is an online
questionnaire (at www.vuelaseguro.com). Just fill in all details, answer the (health)questions
with ‘no’ and you will get a QR-code within 1 second and you are good to go.

A dissapointed Toluca-visit this time, only 1 FBO visit (approx 5x Hangars) and furthermore many
Hangars closed while traffic was still not as good as in the non-Covid time.
It might be that our expectations (in our minds) were a little too positive as well,

Monterrey was a new place for us to go. Booked the City Express at Del Norte Airport,
high room facing the airport gives absolute great views over the apron (nothing can be missed).

Before departing with our cab back to the International Airport (for our flight to GDL)
we asked the driver to drive to the walk bridge on the NE side of the airport (thx google translate).
From that bridge you have a clear view on the stored aircrafts (in the midfield of the airport).

Arranged a left seat in order to catch some biz at Cancun (while taxiing to our gate).
From landside no views, terminal 3 might have views, but that’s the International one
(and mainly for USA/Canada departures). Hotel was the Comfort Inn Cancun Aeropuerto,
depending runway use, all movements were visible (outbound from the room,
and if we walked to the roof, inbounds could be seen as well).
